Experience
I have been passionate about teaching since I was in second grade. One of my teachers identified something within me that no other teacher seemed to see. Their belief in me sparked a love of education and learning that caused me to want to pursue a career in that area. I am currently teaching Pre-K and I also have experience teaching students at the elementary school level. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students in various academic areas, teaching English, and working with at-risk students on an individual level. I am comfortable tutoring students in college English, math, English, ESL, writing, reading, and phonics. I am also available to help students prepare for the ISEE-lower level and the SSAT. I enjoy tutoring because it enables me to work with students that might be struggling. Working with them on an individual level allows me to give them the extra motivation they might need to reach their academic goals. Working with students individually also enables me to figure out the learning style that works best for them and adapt the way I teach to meet their needs. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and crafting.
